8123 Galileo’s cart

Additional kit for product code 8101.

Thanks to this trolley it is possible to perform experiments on reference systems in translational motion. It is equipped with an electromagnet that holds a steel sphere at a height of 25 cm on the plane of the trolley. The release of the sphere is controlled by a photocell that can be activated from the outside with a simple flashlight. The drop point of the sphere remains impressed on a strip of carbonated paper, thus allowing to verify the Galilean relativity principle for systems in uniform and accelerated motion, both on a horizontal plane and on an inclined plane.
